Abstract :
Objective: The aim of this research was designing and Explanaion the model of professional development for sports managers. Methodology: The research method was descriptive - correlational. The statistical population consisted the managers of sport organizations and sport management professors of universities. The statistical sample was estimated as sufficient for modeling in pls software (n = 158). Sampling was performed by judgingt method. Research tools consisted researcher-made questionnaire extracted from the qualitative section with 66 questions at 5-point Likert scale. Validity of the research instrument was confirmed by content validity (n=11), reliability (Cronbach's alpha) and construct validity (fit indices). Result: Based on the modeling of structural documents, it was determined that: National requirements for professionalization (with a coefficient of 0.26) and the paradigm variable of professionalization of sports management (0.52) They have a direct, positive and significant effect on career development planning. The effect of professional development planning vaofessional management skills (0.82) and sports management skills (0.40) have a significant effect on the professionalization of sports managers. Finally, the effect of professionalization of sports managers on the consequences of professional development was significant (0.72). Conclusion: Based on research findings it can be said that the professional development of sports managers, it is a multidimensional process that results in the result is the effect between factors related to odel levels. Therefore, the present model is suggested as a framework for analysis and planning to be used in training and empowering sports managers.
