Realism meaning tend to real facts is a word that consider in the philosophy, art and literary. Literary realism criticizes and modify as a school with realism and out of siding characterize the facts of society. You see most of realism school features in the works of most Iranian writers especially the first generation writers like Jallal Ale Ahmad, Ali Jamal Zadeh and Bozorg Alavi. Simin Daneshvar also is not exceptional as one of the prominent writers of this generation. Second novel of Daneshvar naming "Wandering island" is the first volume of the series of three volumes and is a realistic work in the field of social realism. Although the writer has atendency to simbolic realism by using symbols io ordet to talk about social and poletical lssnes. In this essay, realism aspects of "wandering island" in the two fields of form and structure is studied. For studying content Political issues - social, economic and cultural, the reflection life personal of the writer is studied. In form part the effects of realistic work and the elements like characterizing, language and tone, scene making and the way of narration, are discussed.
