The Effectiveness of Educational Intelligence Training Based on Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory on Social Utility and Educational Motivation in Isfahan female Students

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Gardner Multiple Intelligence Training on social utility and academic motivation of female students. The design of this research was a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest and control group design. The statistical population consisted of all 10th grade students of Isfahan city in the academic year of 1394-1396. The sampling method was randomized. The sample was selected from among students of 4 schools and 30 students randomly selected and assigned to the experimental and control groups (each group was 15). The Krone-Marlow Social Utility Questionnaire and Valerand's Motivational Scale were used to collect data. Then, the experimental group participated in 14 regular sessions in the training sessions on intelligence education based on Gadner's theory. Data were analyzed using multivariate and single variable covariance analysis.
