Abstract :
The present study has purposes the comparison of Identity Style among undergraduate in Tehran state universities based on gender, educational course, residend and non residend. students undergraduate ( boys and girls with mean ) were selected Multistage method form statistical population (undergraduate in Tehran state universities) and compelated the identity style inventory in by White, J.M., Wampler, R.S. & Winn, K.I. The mean score of informational identity style in girls was higher than boys and the mean score of diffuse/ avoident identity style in boys was higher than girls also the mean score commitment in girls was higher than boys. The mean score of informative identity style in humanity sciences was higher than technology and engineering student and the rest differences werenot significant. The only difference in normative identity style was between humanity sciences students with the three other groups and the mean score the above first groups had been abtained higher than the rest groups. The mean score in normative and informational identity style were higher in non resident than resident students.
