Abstract :
The purpose of this study study was to determine the relationship between attachment to God and resilience with meaning in life among students. Research statistical population in the present study included Mohaghegh Ardabili University students in undergraduate educational stages (in the 2010-2011 school year). The research sample consisted of 200 subjects who were selected from among students of Mohaghegh Ardabili University through cluster random sampling. To collect the data, attachment to God inventory (Beck & McDonald, 2006) and meaningful life scale ( Battista & Almond, 1973 ) and resilience scale ( Conner & Davidson, 2003 ) were used. The data was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analyses. The results showed that attachment to Godwas positively related to meaningful life (r=0.48) , and resilience (r= 0. 40). Also the results showed that meaningful life was positively related to resilience (r =0.39) (P < 0 . 01) . The results of multiple regressions showed that attachment to God and resilience meaningfully explained 25% of meaningful life, 37% of subscale Framework and 15% of subscale Satisfaction (P < 0.01) .
