Abstract :
Allegory is one of the methods and means of expression which is used by the poets and writers to explain their desired topics and concepts and to better induce the content to the readers. One of these poets is Parvin E'tesami, who used allegory to explain her teachings so that it can be said that allegory is the most important expressive tool used by Parvin E'tesami. In this article, the allegory of animals in Parvin's poems has been analyzed thematically. It is conducted by a descriptive and analytical method with a library research method. The authors assumed that Parvin used the allegory of animals in her pieces. Based on the mentioned hypothesis and with the content analysis, the poems are explained based on the topic, role and place of animals in Parvin's educational teachings. Out of Parvin's 90 pieces, 21 pieces are quoted by the animals, and almost all of them are in the form of dialogues. Among 15 pieces, both sides of the conversation are animals in which one piece is in the form of a monologue, and in 5 pieces, one side is an animal and the other side includes other elements. The results indicate that all these pieces have a confrontational structure and each of the heroes is in favor of a topic which is in contrast with the other. Parvin's allegorical method of some animals can be seen in the history of Persian literature, but, regardless of the animal's allegorical history, in some cases Parvin used a new treatment.
