Much research has been done on open-loop DVR control strategies. Although open loop control has a fast dynamic response, due to the presence of a DVR filter, the load voltage waveform has sharp fluctuations with high uplift and poor attenuation. All proposed DVR methods are based on classical closed loop control (load voltage feedback) and are implemented using sinusoidal modulation in abc coordinates. The purpose of this paper is to implement the minimum energy strategy using space vector modulation. For this purpose, a new algorithm is proposed to implement the minimum energy strategy in dq coordinates. Then, due to the weak attenuation of the dynamic response of the open-loop DVR control and its mean state error, to improve the dynamic response characteristics and reduce the steady-state error, the closed loop control with load voltage feedback and the inner loop with capacitor current feedback feedback of DVR filter is used.
