Abstract :
Fersdosi has taken a very special delicacy in using native Persian words so that we can just see some of the words in Shahname this matter causes difficulty in describing words and couples of Shahname. One of these words, which is a common Iranian verb in the Pahlavi language and Local literature is The infinitive "kaftan" which means "to fall" and because of Ferdowsi's exclusive use: some have misunderstood it with Arabic, some because of the chain of words and the association of this word with other words, it is attached to "k" from "blossom" They want, some people have imagined virtual meanings for it and ... Unfortunately, the meaning of "fall" has been neglected, which has more verbal and content affinity with this word. The purpose of this study is to misinterpret Shahnameh scholars, lexicographers and other texts which are unaware of the richto old Persian dictionaries andand deep-rooted cultures of the Persian script in presenting the meaning of the words. The research method is description and analysis of texts and the method of data collection is documentary and library. The statistical population includes literary books, especially Shahnameh and dictionaries. Statistical exampleKaft, shahname's researchers, word processors, Local literatures are the verb "kaft".
