Effect of social capital on Approaches and Attitudes Related with Environment Protection among rural cooperative

Abstract :
The aim of this study was to determine influencing social capital on approaches and attitudes related with environment protection. The methodological approach of this study was descriptive- correlative. The research population consisted of 183 managers of rural production cooperatives in Mazandaran province, which was selected using randomizing sampling method (n=125). Validity of the instrument was established by a panel of experts consisting of senior faculty members and research committee advisors. Reliability analysis was conducted by using and Cronbach alpha formula and result was 0.88. Dependent variables were dimensions of approaches and attitudes related with environment protection. Independent variables include dimensions of social capital (structural social, cognitive social and relationship social). The results showed that dimensions of social capital with approaches and attitudes related with environment protection had been relationship of positive and significant. The results of the multiple regression analysis (stepwise method) revealed that structural social, cognitive social and relationship social in three steps explained a variation of 92.3% of the attitudes related with environment protection.also, structural social, cognitive social and relationship social in three steps explained a variation of 94.5% of the approaches related with environment protection.
