Abstract :
Undoubtedly, with the increase in the world's population, providing food security has become one of the most serious challenges of human societies. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully review this issue and solve the bottlenecks, it will not be possible except by relying on scientific foundations and localization of new technologies. Providing management solutions such as the use of nuclear technology are among the things that must be paid attention to in order to ensure food security in the future. This applied study is a qualitative phenomenological study and was conducted with the aim of identifying the appropriate methods of nuclear technology in improving food security and the obstacles to its use. In this research, 11 faculty members of agricultural colleges and research institutes were identified and questioned using the snowball technique. The data collection tool was the focused group discussion technique. Qualitative data analysis was done using MAXQDA software. The results showed that from the point of view of faculty members and agricultural experts, in terms of work method, radiation method and in terms of obstacles, educational obstacles were more important. Based on these results, it is necessary to carry out applied research and long-term implementation plans in line with these aspects of nuclear technology.
