Abstract :
The present study has analyzed the spatial analysis of sports facilities and the evaluation of access to sports centers according to their spatial distribution pattern at the level of communication networks in Semnan city. This research is applied and descriptive-analytical. After determining the per capita sports uses, the per capita distribution of these centers was measured at the level of the regions according to the population density, using the Williamson model. In the second part, using the Moran model, the pattern of spatial distribution of sports uses (outdoor, indoor and all sports uses) was measured according to the area of these uses. The results have shown that the per capita sports spaces in Semnan city is equal to 0.54 square meters, which is less than the minimum per capita determined for Iran. On the other hand, the total number of sports spaces per household is around 8.11 square meters. also; The per capita of outdoor sports spaces is more than the per capita of covered spaces (0.35 versus 0.19 square meters per person). Meanwhile, with the increase in population density, the number of sports spaces (outdoor and indoor) per capita increases with the slope of the line R2=0.1174. This shows that managers and planners do not pay attention to social justice in the distribution of sports spaces in the study area. Also, according to the results obtained from the nearest neighbor average model, it was found that the spatial distribution pattern of sports centers in Semnan city level is 99% random. So; solving these problems requires planning and management in the field of locating and organizing sports spaces.
