Abstract :
Both population growth and aging of the population will have undesirable consequences on the economic and social dimensions (Gheysarian, 2009: 1) Given that the spatial distribution of population, population structure is one of important issues (Mohajerani, 2010: 45) The study with indicators of aging, the aging of the rural population's spatial distribution using Geographic Information System GIS in census periods 1996, 2006 and 2011 were analyzed. The results of this study indicate that the three census periods of 1996, 2006 and 2011, the cluster model in our aging index and means that we focus on the central part of the country's population aging populations are not distributed and balanced in the country and continue this process will lead to more focus on the elderly population. The space between the center and the control center for a high rate of aging in our country, Finally, the rural elderly population is increasing.
