Abstract :
Iran is a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural country where different ethnic groups live with different cultures and languages. Multi-ethnicity and multiculturalism, while providing an opportunity for Iran, have always posed a risk of territorial fragmentation and divergence for the regime. The issue in the ethnic divide has always been abused by foreign powers. The present article tries to focus on the question "What is the main cause of ethnic divergence in Iran today and what is the strategy to overcome it?" To study the issue of ethnicity in Iran. The findings of the article show that the main cause of ethnic divergence in Iran is the relative deprivation of ethnic areas located on the outskirts of Iran and the strategy for transitioning from ethnic divergence is to expand social welfare in all regions of Iran. Also, national awareness should be considered as one of the indicators to eliminate the feeling of deprivation. The best basis for overcoming ethnic discrimination is national authority with development.
