National Championship Sports Management Information Systems Development Model

Abstract :
The present study was conducted with the aim of presenting a model for developing information systems for national championship sports management. The present research method was qualitative. In this study, according to the purpose of the study, participants were selected based on purposive sampling from among university professors who are familiar with the field of management information systems. Finally, 14 people were identified as the research sample. The data collection tool included semi-structured interviews. In order to analyze the data of the present study in the qualitative part, the grounded theory method was used. The results of the study showed that the conditions of the causal factors affecting the development of national championship sports management information systems include national aspects, the status of athletes, accountability, aspects related to quality and public trust. The results of the study also showed that the background factors affecting the development of national championship sports management information systems include dynamism, internal excellence, technical knowledge, motivational system and managerial transformation. According to the results of this study, it was determined that the interfering factors affecting the development of national championship sports management information systems include macro and micro conditions, and the strategies affecting the development of national championship sports management information systems include short-term, medium-term, and long-term strategies. Therefore, it is suggested that by creating an elite training system for implementing management information systems, a platform for the development of national championship sports management information systems is provided.
