Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the discourse techniques used in the "Weekend Page 2" program distributed from the Persian-language BBC network in the years 94 and 95. Attempted to first discover discursive techniques through discourse techniques and discourse, then analyze the program using the critical discourse analysis method. The results of the study indicate that the program benefited from discourse hostilities between program guests, the rejection of various discourses, such as political Islam and the creation of meanings consolidated by induction and propaganda discourse. As well as the Persian-language BBC in the context of this strategy, the Concept, using contradictory structures, censorship and discursive plot designs, seeks to build semantic frameworks for its audience. Such as the undemocratic and separatist Islamist republicanism, as well as trying to ask many of the meanings fixed in the minds of its audience, which ultimately leads to the success of the major policies of the program, the network and the completion of the British media diplomacy puzzle for Iran.
