Abstract :
This article investigates Annales school, formed in the early 20thcentury in France. This school has been one of the most influentialhistoriographical schools and enlightment movements. Authorapplying a descriptive-analytic approach, with study of historicalcontext of Annales appearance seeks formation and developments ofthat in level of first generation. This article will show how private lifeeffected spiritual leaders' intellectual bases. At the end, Annales'achievements will submit briefly.
