Abstract :

After Muslim scholars and theologians became familiar with the new philosophy of Christianity over the past two decades, new theories about revelation have been proposed in the intellectual and scientific atmosphere of Iranian society. One of the most important theories is the theory of expanding prophetic experience presented by Dr. Soroush. It has caused many doubts for the younger generation, and examining and criticizing this theory in order to remove the doubts that have arisen is of great importance. To document his theory, he has cited verses from the Quran and verses from Rumi's Masnavi. This theory is influenced by many Western intellectual sources. In this article, in order to examine and criticize this theory from the perspective of the infallibility of the Prophet (PBUH), Soroush's views on revelation were first examined, followed by his documentation, and at each stage, scientific and documented criticisms of the Quran and the opinions of experts in rejecting this theory are presented.
