Abstract :
In today’s financial turmoil, where economic anxieties and limiting beliefs have affected many people, it is essential to address modern psychotherapeutic approaches. This article aims to examine the therapeutic potential of Rumi’s mystical poetry, especially in the spiritual Masnavi, in the field of financial psychology. The main question of this research is how the mystical concepts of abundance, trust, surrender, and freedom from fear in Rumi’s poems can pave the way for rebuilding financial attitudes and treating the poverty mentality. The research method is qualitative and analytical, and it was conducted using content analysis of Masnavi poems and comparing them with modern theories of financial psychology, such as the abundance mentality and the treatment of limiting beliefs. The research findings show that Masnavi poems have a significant ability to create psychological transformation in an individual’s attitude towards money, abundance, and economic flow; especially in reducing financial anxiety, strengthening inner trust, and replacing fear with acceptance and peace. The conclusion of the research emphasizes that the connection between Iranian mysticism and financial psychology can be exploited not only theoretically but also in practice. The spiritual Masnavi can be used as an inspirational and therapeutic source in financial coaching, economic mindfulness, and psychotherapy. The present study suggests that Persian mystical literature should find a special place in personal and financial development programs and that further studies be conducted in this field.
