Abstract :
The present study investigates the relationship between group cooperation and teamwork quality with the mediating role of empowerment in education staff in Yasuj city. The present study is applied in terms of objectives and in terms of data analysis method, structural equations in a descriptive correlational method and cross-sectional in terms of time. The statistical population consists of education staff in Yasuj city in 2024-2023, 250 people who were selected by simple random sampling method. Statistical data were collected through three questionnaires of teamwork by Evans and Jarvis (1986), teamwork quality by Hoegel and Gmoenden (2001), and employee empowerment by Spritzer and Mishra (1992). The analysis method of this study was path analysis. The findings of the study showed that there is a significant relationship between group cooperation, empowerment, and teamwork quality. Team cooperation has a direct and significant effect on empowerment and teamwork quality. Also, group collaboration has an indirect and significant effect on the quality of teamwork through the mediation of empowerment. According to the research findings, it is suggested that educational managers and policymakers should strengthen the platforms for group collaboration to provide the basis for promoting employee empowerment and improving the quality of teamwork.
