Abstract :
The present article, titled "The Geopolitics of the Resistance Axis on the National Security of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Regional and International Challenges)," examines the influential relationship of the Resistance Axis on various dimensions of Iran's national security. On this basis, the thesis seeks to answer the question: What effect does the geopolitics of the Resistance Axis have on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran?In the research method section, a descriptive-analytical method has been used; the main goal of this research has been to identify the role of geopolitical components in strengthening and consolidating the security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. To this end, an attempt has been made to highlight the importance of the axis of resistance as a deterrent against possible threats, while also examining the impact of the policies and approaches of this axis on Iran's foreign policy.
The most important challenge facing this axis in the present study has been the complex and rapid changes in the regional and global environment. These developments have sometimes weakened the convergence among the members of the axis of resistance and also led to gaps in common interests that require serious attention from policymakers. The findings indicate that strengthening the geopolitics of the axis of resistance,By creating regional convergence and reducing the influence of foreign powers in the Middle East, it can enhance the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The results have also shown that strengthening the geopolitics of the resistance axis with an intelligent and flexible approach has the capacity to create balance and contain regional threats, including international terrorism, the influence of trans-regional powers, and separatism.
