Abstract :
The teaching-learning environment is the result of teacher interaction and management and student attitude towards the teacher. Its role in reducing stress and anxiety, increasing feelings of happiness and optimism, and improving students' efficiency and self-confidence has been confirmed. The aim of this study was to qualitatively explore the characteristics of the teaching-learning environment of the Alpha generation in primary school. The research method is classified as applied developmental research in terms of purpose and orientation, with an exploratory research. The statistical population consisted of primary school teachers. A non-random, purposeful sampling method was used. Among the cities of Alborz province, Karaj was selected, and within Karaj, District 4 was chosen. The researcher reached saturation after conducting 10 interviews with teachers, and to enhance the validity of the concepts, the interviews continued up to 12 participants. Data analysis was carried out using the grounded theory approach. The interviews were reviewed, interpreted, coded, and categorized, resulting in the following themes: deep technological understanding, appropriate equipment and facilities, curriculum support resources, teachers’ information processing ability, encouragement of practical orientation, and promotion of focus as key characteristics of the Alpha generation’s teaching-learning environment. Overall, the findings indicate that creating an effective teaching-learning environment for the Alpha generation requires a combination of deep technological knowledge, appropriate facilities, quality educational resources, teachers’ information processing ability, and encouragement of practical and focused approaches.
