Atheism and Faith in Ayn-al-Quzat’s Pointview

Abstract :

Ayn-al-Quzat Hamadani was one of the courageous mystics whose mystical, theological, philosophical thoughts show this indescribable spirit. He has a great interest in dialectical concepts such as Prophet and Satan, good and evil and etc. He has also raised disbelief and faith in a special and controversial way among his pure and mystical thoughts. The main question of this article is the quiddity and circumstances of Qazi’s special view on atheism and faith that were an incentive to initiate this research on a table method. In this article, first the two words atheism and faith are included in the word, sharia and idiom, then the views of other mystics or Mystics scholars have been searched in ancient mystical books. At the end, Ayn-al-Quzat’s perspective about this seemingly blasphemous thought has been explored in two of his precious works of Letters and Preparations. Our achievement in this research is that Qazi, influenced by Hallaj's views in this regard and his belief in the unity of his existence has made an effort to prove the Unity status and the identicality of atheism and faith with the help of the greats’ blasphemous phrases and by passing through virtual faith and discovering true atheism and reaching the status of annihilation and observation.
