Systematic analysis of learning management strategies in secondary schools with a social media approach

Abstract :
This research aimed to identify the objectives and strategies of learning management for secondary school principals with a social media approach. The research method was qualitative and employed meta-synthesis using the Sandelowski and Barroso model. The study population included academic resources such as books, dissertations, and scientific articles published from 2015 to 2025 in databases like Irandoc, Magiran, Noormags, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. From 123 initial sources, 28 articles were purposively selected based on theoretical saturation. Data were examined through a systematic literature review and qualitative content analysis. The results indicated that learning management strategies for school principals in the context of social media include attention to various dimensions of learning, coherence between learning strategies and new technologies, and the reciprocal impact of media and learning on achieving educational goals. In total, 26 components were identified in the domain of learning management strategies, the most important of which include knowledge management, utilization of educational technology, professional development, time management, self-study, and leveraging the capabilities of social media such as Twitter, social mapping, and guidance. Applying these strategies will lead to greater effectiveness and sustainability of individual and collective learning in the digital age. Therefore, by implementing these strategies, learning approaches on social media become more effective, purposeful, and sustainable, and can play a more significant role in developing individual and collective learning.
