Organizational Factors Influencing Intra-Organizational Social Capital (Case Study: Taban Airlines)

Abstract :
In today's world, attention to the social aspects of organizations has gained significant importance due to their role in sustainable development. Various studies in organizational domains have demonstrated that organizations, in addition to their economic dimension also possess social dimensions. The outcomes of these studies have drawn scholars' attention to the significance of social relations within organizations, leading to the adoption of the term "social capital" to describe and explain interpersonal relationships within organizations. The statistical population of this research consists of the employees of Taban Airlines in 2024, totaling approximately 246 individuals. A random sampling method was employed, with a sample size of 150 participants. Data collection was conducted using a researcher-designed questionnaire, distributed both online and in paper format. The data gathered through these two methods were combined for analysis using statistical software. The findings revealed that, managerial behavior, organizational commitment, access to resources, and hierarchical status significantly impact organizational social capital. The results clearly highlight the critical role of managerial behavior and organizational commitment in strengthening organizational social capital.
