Abstract :
Introduction
Cultural heritage, as the essence of existential identity and the manifestation of the spirit of humanity, is a factor in strengthening national identity and social solidarity and has a two-way relationship with tourism. Considering the vital role of cultural heritage in creating cultural soft power and sustainable social and economic development of societies, protecting and preserving this heritage is essential..
Methodology
The present study uses a review and analytical method to examine and analyze the impact of education in the protection and preservation of cultural heritage in tourism and examines the role of museums in the protection and preservation of this heritage. In this study, relevant data were provided by using books, articles, reports and research related to the subject under study and its review and analysis.

Results and discussion
The findings show that museums, as cultural and educational centers, play an important role in teaching culture through cultural tourism and preserving and maintaining cultural heritage, and virtual museums are also important in increasing awareness and education about the protection of cultural heritage and cultural heritage tourism.
Conclusion
In order to educate in the preservation of cultural heritage, it is possible to develop popular voluntary programs, and by holding cultural exhibitions, cultural exchange programs, and holding educational and practical workshops, and using modern technologies, a suitable educational platform can be provided.
