Abstract :

The issue of guardianship has a high and great position in religious sciences and Islamic thoughts and is considered one of the most important theological sciences. It can be said that after monotheism, no other issue has attracted the attention of Islamic thinkers to this extent. Province has been one of the most controversial issues in the history of Islam and one of the most controversial issues that has caused the formation of many Islamic sects and sects. It is very important and fundamental to talk about the position of the guardianship and discover and emphasize the consensus of Islamic scholars in this regard, in order to remove the differences between Muslims and strengthen the unity of the Islamic Ummah. In order to achieve this goal, this article has compared the opinions of two Islamic thinkers and mystics (Shia and Sunni), Imam Khomeini and Sheikh Mahmoud Shabastri. Both of them have paid special attention to guardianship in the sense of tutelage and guardianship, and they consider guardianship to be the manifestation of God and the perfect human being on earth. Both believe that the status of saints and prophets depends on receiving the light of Muhammad's truth, and the closer they are to this truth, the higher their rank. Both nobles are close to each other in the matter of the whole province, and with a slight difference, they consider Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as the seal of saints. Sheikh Shabastri differentiates between guardianship and prophethood and considers a prophet who has the position of guardianship higher than the position of a non-guardian prophet, but the Imam (RA) considers the saints of God to be one and does not see any difference between them..
