Abstract :
The primary objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of organizational coaching training on the organizational performance of school principals in District 2 of Alborz Province. This research was applied in purpose and semi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The statistical population included all school principals in District 2 of Alborz Province during the academic year 2023-2024. From this population, 40 principals were selected through purposive sampling and randomly divided into experimental and control groups (20 participants in each group).
Initially, a pre-test was conducted for baseline assessment. The experimental group received organizational coaching training over 10 sessions of 50 minutes each, while the control group received no training. The Hersey and Goldsmith Organizational Performance Questionnaire, consisting of 42 items with a reliability coefficient of 0.86, was used to measure organizational performance. After the training, the questionnaire was administered to both groups, and the data were analyzed using covariance analysis.
The findings revealed that organizational coaching training effectively improved the organizational performance of school principals in District 2 of Alborz Province. Specifically, the training enhanced components such as ability, motivation, clarity, support, evaluation, and overall organizational performance. However, no significant impact was observed on the components of credibility and environment.
