Ranking of factors affecting the satisfaction of residents of Mehr housing complexes according to urban planning criteria (Study example: Mehr housing in Parand city)

Abstract :
Introduction:
Introduction: Housing, as one of the most important human needs, is considered at its lowest level as a mere shelter and at higher levels as a means of human excellence. In the last century, with the continued expansion of urbanization in the world, large and small cities have faced a not-so-new but very important problem. Social classes in today's cities are becoming increasingly distant from each other. Having adequate housing is the right of every citizen. The Iranian Constitution emphasizes the provision of housing for all segments of society. Meanwhile, low-income segments of society face numerous problems in providing housing. This has led to various policies in the housing sector, such as social housing, affordable housing, and the like. In recent years, one of the biggest government decisions taken in the housing sector in Iran is the Mehr Housing Scheme, which was developed to provide housing for low-income groups in society.
Research aim:. The aim of this study is to rank the factors affecting the level of satisfaction of residents of the Mehr Housing Schemes according to urban planning criteria in the new city of Parand.
Methodology: In this study, an attempt was made to collect criteria and variables related to residential satisfaction using documentary and library studies, then by distributing a questionnaire among the residents of the Mehr Housing Scheme in Parand and analyzing the data using statistical tests, the level of satisfaction of the residents of the Mehr Housing Scheme in Parand was evaluated.
Studied Areas: The geographical scope of this study is the new city of Parand.
Conclusion: After the studies, it was concluded that ignoring the quality of housing and Mehr Housing Complex according to urban planning criteria has reduced the acceptability of Mehr Housing in Parand city and has had undesirable results and caused dissatisfaction among its residents. Also, among the criteria studied, the lowest level of satisfaction of residents with Mehr Housing Complexes in the study area is related to the physical structure and environment in Mehr Housing Complexes. On the other hand, criteria such as: neighborly relations, security, lighting and ventilation, and economic factors have the highest level of satisfaction among other criteria. Results: The present study ultimately led to the presentation of operational and executive solutions "for the satisfaction of residents and increasing the quality of Mehr Housing Complex in Parand in the study area
