Investigating the effective methods of teaching physical education skills-workshops in the era of Corona

Abstract :

Objective: The aim of the current research was to investigate the effective methods of teaching physical education skill-workshop courses in the Corona era. Therefore, the research method is applied in terms of purpose and mixed in terms of data collection method. The tools of data collection are interviews and questionnaires.

Methods: This research is of a mixed type in terms of the certainty of information, which is in the qualitative stage of a fundamental (exploratory) type. In the first stage, the research is qualitative and the data collection method is interview. In the quantitative stage, the research method is descriptive-survey and the method of collecting information is a questionnaire. In the qualitative phase, the statistical population is educational experts and physical education professors with at least 10 years of work experience, and in the quantitative phase, all the physical education professors in Qom province in 2019 (350 people), the sample size in the qualitative phase is theoretically sufficient (about 20 Also, the sample size in the quantitative stage was determined based on Morgan's table (184 people), the sampling method was purposeful in the qualitative stage and random in the quantitative stage. The tool for collecting information is a researcher-made questionnaire. First, based on a qualitative approach, an interview of educational experts and physical education professors in Qom province is conducted, and a questionnaire is designed based on them.

Results: Finally, the conclusion has been reached that the weak point of teaching skill-workshop courses in physical education in the era of Corona is things such as the up-to-date equipment and facilities of the workshop, practicing lessons at home in accordance with the teaching topics, the level of familiarity with educational aids, the motivation of the topics The topics of skill-workshop courses for online practice at home are educational and informative, as well as solutions such as providing classified educational videos, organizing an educational social network in corona conditions, planning to avoid interference with online educational classes, and allocating an educational budget for scholars.

Conclusion: In order to provide training materials, design teaching methods by the scholars themselves, continuous evaluation of scholars in online classes, having the educational content of skill books with sufficient richness, continuous feedback of the lecturer from scholars in the training sessions, etc., in order to improve the situation of teaching courses Workshop skills can be provided.
