The years 1296 to 1298 were one of the saddest years in the modern history of Iran, when the first world war started, which coincided with the accession of AhmadShah Qajar, Iran declared neutrality, but the warring countries were indifferent to the declaration of neutrality, parts of They occupied the country and turned it into a battlefield. Those years are referred to as the "Great Famine Era" during which half of Iran's population died due to famine, but unfortunately with the passage of time and oblivion The bitter days of that era and the political and social conflicts of the following years, researchers did not pay as much attention to this issue as they should have, and this great disaster, as well as its causes and consequences, were forgotten to the extent that many people even thought about the Great Famine. They do not have much information. In this research, we are trying to interpret, analyze and explain the content and pose the question, what effect did colonialism and tyranny have on the great famine of Iran? Let's examine the hypothesis that tyranny and political mismanagement, colonialism and foreign conspiracies played an effective role in the great famine of Iran.
