Ḥāfeẓ-e Shīrāzī in the mirror of Hakim Nabati's poetry (a look at Nabati's intertextual relations with Hafez)

Abstract :

Intertextuality is one of the modern literary theories. The subject of this literary theory is to explore the relationships between texts. This literary theory emphasizes that the text is not independent and self-sufficient and cause a this looks for the traces of texts in a specific text; He considers the text to be a collection of quotations and any text to absorb and transform another text. Azeri Turkic literature has grown and expanded under the influence of Persian literature, the poets of this literature have had extensive intertextual relationships with Persian literature and the great poets of this literature. Abulqasem Nabati is one of the poets of this literature, the effect of Hafez's mind and language can be seen everywhere in his divan, and his intertextual relations with Hafez are evident in different linguistic, thematic and poetic imagery. Based on this, the present study is dedicated to the exploration of intertextual relations in the mentioned contex's with descriptive-analytical method and has re-examined different dimensions of Nabati's intertextuality with Hafez. The presence of words and Lexical combinations, themes and topics, and poetic images of Hafez's poetry are indicative of this intertextual relationship. the present research has proved Nabati's wide intertextual relations with Hafez and by revealing the manifestations of the intertextual relationship, emphasized Hafez's position as an influential poet in the formation and development of Nabati's poetry.
