Abstract :

The aim of the research was to present a structural model of the benefits and financial costs of a sustainable supply chain under conditions of uncertainty in manufacturing companies. The research method is exploratory mixed. In the qualitative section, a purposive sampling method was used. In total, 30 managers were interviewed, each working in different companies. The interviewed managers were key decision-makers with titles such as marketing manager, financial manager, and market development manager. In the quantitative section, the statistical population included 489 companies in the industrial town of Golestan province, from which 215 companies were selected using simple random sampling based on the Cochran sample size formula, and the questionnaire was provided to the managers for model testing. The research tool in the qualitative section was interviews with experts, and in the quantitative section, it was a questionnaire. Validity in the qualitative section was assessed using criteria of confirmability, reliability, transferability, and credibility, while in the quantitative section, content validity and construct validity were utilized. Reliability in the qualitative section was confirmed using two methods: test-retest and inter-rater agreement among coders, and in the quantitative section, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used and confirmed. The developed model was tested in the form of a questionnaire. In the quantitative section, the validity of the model was examined using confirmatory factor analysis. The results showed that the proposed model has sufficient validity, which was analyzed using the PLS software, and the structural model fit was confirmed
