Abstract :
Students' learning as "netborns" in the schools of the future will enter schools not only as learners, but also as social beings that are culturalized differently, and against that, their learning will be culturalized according to the values of the society. Thus, in the current research, the schools of the future have been re-examined with an emphasis on the digital age. The approach of the intended research was qualitative, which used the grounded theory strategy of Glazeri's emerging approach. The field of research was the schools of Sanandaj city (primary and secondary level), and the principals of these schools were involved in the research as potential participants. Sampling was done in a purposeful and criterion-oriented manner. Also, a semi-structured interview charter was used to collect data. A total of 15 school principals (10 men and 5 women) were interviewed in Sanandaj city until the theoretical saturation category was reached. Glassier's (1999) two-step theoretical coding method (open and central) was used to analyze the research data. The findings of the research showed that the characteristics of future schools in the digital age include the categories of in-depth study of learners in learning, multidimensionality and dynamism of schools, technology-oriented education, social justice as a principle of action, centralization of the issue of poverty, balanced evaluation of students' activities and having The curriculum had civic experiences. Also, the effects of future schools on students' learning included inspirational learning, experience-based learning, smart learning, cooperation and intercultural communication, and life skills. Also, the role of the educational leaders of the future schools in the digital age included engaging teachers to make accurate inferences about the concept of learning, creating a democratic atmosphere in the school, and wanting to be transformative in the school. As a result, it can be said that in the future, by institutionalizing new technologies in the process of education, teaching and learning in a technical way, schools will act towards the modernization of learning in order to strengthen the innovative mentality and creativity of students.
