Abstract :
Introduction: The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between personality traits and organizational health in the succession process in the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Fars province. research methodology The research method used was part of applied research in terms of purpose, and in terms of data collection method it was part of correlational descriptive research. The statistical population of this research includes all the employees of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Fars Province, who according to the employment statistics of the General Directorate; There were 150 people. To determine the sample size, 108 people were selected as a sample using Morgan's table based on random sampling. The data collection tools in this research included three personality traits questionnaires by McCree and Costa, Huey and Feldman's organizational health, and Horna's succession. The validity and reliability of standard questionnaires were confirmed in previous studies, and in this study, the form and content validity of questionnaires were checked and confirmed by physical education experts, the reliability of questionnaires was checked by Alpha Cronbach and reported more than 0.7 in all components. became. In order to analyze the collected data, it was evaluated at two descriptive and inferential levels. At the descriptive level, mean and standard deviation, and at the inferential level, Pearson's correlation coefficient test and simultaneous regression were used. Findings: The results showed that there is a significant relationship between personality traits and organizational health with succession planning. There is a significant relationship between dimensions of organizational health and succession. Personality traits can predict succession. Conclusion: It seems that personality traits and dimensions of organizational health can be used for the succession of Fars Sports and Youth Administration.
