Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of teaching positive thinking on womens life quality in Gheshm city. Method of this investigation is experimental. Statistic population of this study is all women reffered to the two consating centers of GHeshm from 1.7.88 to 1.7.89, who are 300 and were selected as the sample size and eventually 60 of them with lower life quality were chosen. Then they were divided into two groups of 30, randomly. One of them experimental group and the other one control group.teachings of experimental group in to sessions were exposed to positive thinking teaching, but control group was not received any intervention. Gaind data was compared by analysis statistical method of pre-test and post- test scores covariance by eliminating pro-test effect, and statistical method of independent groups was also used. Homogeneity of two groups of experiment and control were investigated before using experimental variable and difference of two groups was studied after using experimental variable. Results show that womens life quality improved meaningfully in experimental group according to positive thinking teaching compare to control group. So it can be concluded that teaching of positive thinking cause the improvement of womens life quality and especially in components of physical performance, faligue or joy, mental health, physical performance has a meaningful effect and also effects of teaching at school and consaltilly centers can be used.
