Abstract :
Abstract The present study aims to identify the aspects affecting the sports event organizations for the disabled and veterans in Iran. The research was practical in terms of purpose and qualitative research using Glazer's unstructured method. The academic staff members were the statistical population in the qualitative section, which consisted of experts in sports events for the disabled and veterans. In this research, the opinions of 11 experts were collected using semi-structured interviews in a targeted manner until reaching theoretical saturation. The reliability of the interviews was 0.75 using the intra-subject agreement method. For data analysis, the constant comparative method, which has three stages: open, central, and selective coding, was used, using Max Kyoda software version 2018. We obtained 116 codes in the open coding stage and 16 axes in the axial coding stage. Finally, 13 factors were presented: organizing costs and Determining financial resources, Organizing an action plan to prepare, Organizing the implementation regulations of competitions, publication of competition brochures (advertisements and magazines), registration and acceptance of participants, organizing medicine and pharmacy, organizing accommodation and event venue, organizing committees and human resources, organizing cultural and leisure events, organizing food and reception of participants, organizing transportation services, organizing the opening and closing ceremony, organizing judges and volunteers.
