Abstract :

Problem statement: The discourse of intellectual cinema is important by many researchers due to its different formulation compared to political activism in the public arena, the creation of new concepts and the criticism of Pahlavi II's political-social approaches in the contemporary history of Iran. At the same time, the emergence of the discourse of intellectual cinema and the movement of the Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) has strengthened the idea among some researchers that the intellectual movement of cinema has been effective in the path of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Based on this, it was taken into consideration that the manner and extent of this influence was, and to what extent it was mutual and to what extent it was one-sided. Also, the impact content and audience community has been one of the issues of this type of impact. Accordingly, in this research, the question was planned whether intellectual cinema had a role in mobilizing forces, creating discourse and accelerating the victory of the Islamic revolution or not. To answer this question and the research process, the "Lacla and Mofe" discourse analysis method has been used. In this research, we try to investigate the central elements and signs of the works of intellectual cinema based on the method of "Lakla and Moufe" and explore the elements of its connection with the discourse of the Islamic Revolution.
