Abstract :

Environmental preferences as one of the common topics in the last few decades have been noticed by scientific communities and considering that the development of scientometric visualization has flourished in academic societies, a comprehensive and systematic review of studies of environmental preferences in urban spaces and depicting Currents governing the studies of this field can help to have a comprehensive view of this scientific concept. In the last decade, various methods of scientometrics and visualization of studies conducted in every field of human knowledge and especially urban planning have developed significantly. The investigations carried out in this field show that so far comprehensive studies have not been conducted based on the scientific evidence of the process of science production in the research of environmental preferences in urban spaces and future research priorities in order to improve the quality of these researches. It deals with environmental preferences related to urban space in recent years. In addition to helping to better understand the literature of environmental preferences, the findings of this research also help to identify the existing research gaps in this field and pave the way for the future study and research paths of researchers in this field. This research aims to review the research literature and with a descriptive-analytical approach, examines and analyzes the indicators of environmental preferences in urban spaces in selected articles. In this direction, the common methods of scientometrics and library research are used, and for this purpose, VOSviewer software is used in the Science-Direct database. For this purpose, the concept of environmental preferences centered on the use in urban spaces from the perspective of thematic connections, related components and indicators, the trend of changes in indicators, places and times where the most studies on this concept have been conducted in the last 30 years are examined. , analysis and classification has been placed. The results show that the research on this subject has increased significantly in the last ten years and countries such as China and America played a significant role in the research network of this field, and the most repeated words are: urban planning, landscape, environmental planning. , health. The findings of this research, in addition to helping to better understand the literature of environmental preferences, also help to identify the existing research gaps in this field and pave the way for the future study and research paths of researchers in this field.
