Abstract :
Resilience means the ability to recover and recover quickly. In urban studies, resilience is discussed in order to reduce urban damages. The subject of study in this research is one of the metropolitan areas of Tehran. The research is related to the pre-crisis stage and is aimed at reducing the risk of crisis. More precisely, the aim of this study is to study the relationship between the resilience of urban communities and the state of vulnerability to floods, earthquakes and other disasters and to know the social, economic, management-institutional and physical aspects of the infrastructure. Also, a better understanding of the relationship between the resilience of urban communities in order to reduce the effects of floods, earthquakes and other disasters, also considering the strengthening of resilience and its role in reducing the effects of natural disasters in the 2nd district of Tehran, on the role of education and promotion of awareness and information, the development of knowledge , public commitments and institutional frameworks, local, native skills, etc. are emphasized as policies to increase and strengthen resilience.
