The relationship between social responsibility and organizational commitment among employees of cooperative, labor and welfare departments Social of West Azerbaijan province

Abstract :
One of the issues raised in the sociology of organizations is the social responsibility of the employees of organizations. The bureaucratic and hierarchical atmosphere of many organizations has caused the employees' sense of commitment and responsibility towards the organization to decrease. This study was carried out with the aim of determining the relationship between the level of social responsibility and the organizational commitment of the employees of the cooperative, labor and social welfare departments of West Azerbaijan province. The statistical population is the employees of cooperative, labor and social welfare departments of West Azerbaijan province, whose number was equal to 236 people. Based on Cochran's formula, the sample size was determined to be 146 people. The sample selection method was stratified random sampling (according to service location and gender). The survey research method and data collection tools were standard and researcher-made questionnaires. The obtained results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the moral dimension of employees' social responsibility and the social dimension of responsibility with organizational commitment. No significant relationship was found between the social responsibility of employees and the economic dimension of employee responsibility with organizational commitment.
