Abstract :
Education is the main focus of human life in all eras, especially in the era of globalization, because without education life in the third millennium is not possible. Of course, it should be said that education in the information age is defined by new characteristics such as interactive, critical education, influence in people's lives and lifestyle. The central question and purpose of this research is to explain the place of education in the opinions of global thinkers, including Iranians, in the recent period. In order to explain this issue and with a discourse analysis, it can be said that globalization has certain effects on the lives of citizens in all dimensions, such as abandonment, the reduction of governments' sovereignty over the education of citizens, the role of modern media in the direction of people's lives, changes in people's lifestyles, The transformation in the nature of the job and the gelatinous identity. Therefore, it can be said that in the political thought of thinkers in the era of globalization, with characteristics such as the privatization of education, critical thinking, increasing the importance of non-formal education, the difference between university education and citizen life, the economicization of the education category, privatization and digitization.
