The conceptual model of the relationship between managers' decision-making style and organizational structure with succession-mediated mediation

Abstract :

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between managers' decision-making style and organizational structure with the mediation of succession in order to provide a conceptual model. The research method was consistent in terms of practical purpose, descriptive correlation in terms of data collection method and quantitative in terms of data type. The statistical population of the study included all employees and managers of Kerman Agricultural Jihad Organization in 1021 and the statistical sample size of 461 people and through stratified random sampling, using correlation tests and structural equations. The results of the data recovered from the questionnaires confirmed the correlation and positive and significant relationship between managers' decision-making styles and organizational structure. The role of succession planning as a mediating factor in facilitating this relationship was also identified. These results confirmed the proposed model. The research results also showed that the implementation of succession planning as a strategic and strategic plan will make the relationship between the decision-making style of the manager and the structure of the organization more effective.
