Identification of internationalization barriers in Golestan University of Medical Sciences and its impact on organizational adaptability

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to identify the barriers to internationalization of Golestan University of Medical Sciences and its impact on organizational adaptability. The purpose of this study was applied and in terms of method, descriptive survey type. The statistical population of this study was 373 faculty members and directors of Golestan University of Medical Sciences who were selected by stratified random sampling method. According to Cochran formula, 190 individuals were selected as sample. To collect the data, a researcher-made questionnaire on internationalization barriers with 69 questions and a researcher-made organizational adaptation questionnaire with 40 questions was used. Validity and reliability of the tools were approved. Factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equations were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the barriers to internationalization have thirteen components of "cultural, teaching, content, human, equipment, structural, political, financial, technological, support services, international cooperation, internal barriers of organization and curriculum. " Is. Also, the obstacles to university internationalization have a negative and significant effect on organizational adaptability
