Abstract :
The main purpose of this study was to investigate validity and reliability of Son, Robb, Charismiadji's computer literacyquestionnaire among virtual and non-virtual students inScience and Technology University of Tehran in 2013. A random-stratified method was applied to select the sample (n=250). Participants completed two questionn- aires: Sonand et al.'s Computer Literacy Scale (2011) and Herczeg and Kindsmüller'scomputer literacy test. Based on The results of exploratory factor analysis with principal axis factoringmethod and Varimax rotation was identified two integrative and significant factors. The first and second factors were named application and ability, respectively. These two factors were explained 46.279% of total variance of this test. The correlation of this test with Herczeg and Kinds- müller's computer literacy test was significant and positive (.791) and also its internal consistency (α= 0.869) and test -retest reliability (r=0.958) were satisfactory. The results of multivariate analysis of variance indicated that virtual students had better function in terms of computer literacy in comparison with the non-virtual students (p<.01)
