The relationship between work-family conflict and self-efficacy with emotional exhaustion, mediating emotional intelligence among employees of The Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines Commercial Unit (HOMA)

Abstract :
The institution of the family is one of the most important social institutions that is the most important pillar and axis of social life and has been accepted and developed in all eras and societies and is one of the effective factors in creating human civilization and culture and the growth and flourishing of human talents. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between work-family conflict and self-efficacy with emotional exhaustion, mediating emotional intelligence in employees of The Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines Trading Unit (HOMA). 200 patients were selected by simple random sampling and completed the standard questionnaire of Carlson's work-family conflict, Scherer's general self-efficacy, machine burnout and emotional intelligence of Sibria Shering. The obtained data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and path analysis. The results showed that work-family conflict and self-efficacy through emotional intelligence are related to emotional exhaustion and this relationship is directly and indirectly significant. There was a significant positive relationship between work-family conflict and emotional exhaustion and there was a significant negative relationship between work-family conflict with self-efficacy and emotional intelligence. There was a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and emotional intelligence with emotional exhaustion and there was a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and emotional intelligence. Considering the significant and negative relationship between self-efficacy and emotional intelligence variables with emotional exhaustion and work-family conflict, it is necessary to support the organizations to familiarize employees with scientific management of work-family conflict and to educate and promote the level of these personality variables in employees.
