Abstract :
Abstract The present study aims to investigate the psychometric properties of the APA 2013 Personality Characteristics short form profile in a sample of students at Islamic Azad University, Roudhen Branch.The applied research method was descriptive and Correlational. The sample consisted of 300 students from the Islamic Azad University of Roodehen who were selected by hand. The research data were collected using the Neo-60 questionnaire and the APA Personality Characteristics Short Person Profile Form (APA 2013).After initial screening, 280 uestionnaires remained for the final analysis.The findings of exploratory factor analysis revealed that there were 5 factors and 24 questions that indicated the validity of the tool structure. Also, the Cronbach's alpha and Gatman's Lambda 2 showed an appropriate instrumental reliability. In this way, the APA Personality Characteristics Short Form (APA) short form has appropriate psychometric properties in the present study. The results of this research can lead to the use of this tool in clinical and subclinical environments.Keywords: Psychometric Properties, PersonalityCharacteristics, Reliability, Validity
