Abstract :
Abstract Political participation is considered as one of the major development indicators that in this pathway, students as a part of human capitals can have a determinant role in running the country’s affairs by their participation. The aim of this research is sociological reviewing of the effective agents on the rate of students’ political participation in the tenth Islamic Parliament elections. Research method is survey and research tool is questionnaire and statistical society of Kerman Unit Islamic Azad University students is a number of 17954 students. Sample size has been 383 people and this research has been conducted by stratified sampling method. Various agents play role in increasing political participation that Lipset, Mylbras and Goyl have mentioned them. the variables that their effect on students’ political participation has been measured are as follows: the individual intention to participate, the individual’s parents and friends intention to participate, habitat, religious beliefs and economic status that among the variables economic status and education, attitude and religious beliefs have had the highest effect.
