Abstract :
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between job ranking of employees and their performance in education office in Zanjan. This is an applied research and data collection was of survey type. After studying the literature, the variables of the study were identified and research hypotheses were formulated. The dependent variable was measured through a questionnaire whose reliability was calculated through Cronbach’s Alpha as .83. The sample of this study included 248 employees of education department in Zanjan who were randomly selected. Coefficient of correlation used in data analysis revealed that there was significant relationship between employees’ performance and their job ranking. Finally, based on the obtained results, suggestions were presented to further researchers.
