Abstract :

Lyrical poetry has been the focus of poets since the earliest days and is considered one of the main Genres of poetry. Based on Iranian and western definitions, the most prominent features of lyrical poetry can be the expression of feelings and emotions, being tragic, sadness, longing, and having a dramatic nature, sociability, first-person narrative, brevity, dependence on the present tense, descriptiveness, strong imagination and musical expression and etc. Some of these characteristics can also be seen in sustainability literature. Therefore, the purpose of the current research is to compare the themes and lyrical features in the poetry of Hamid Sabzewari and Pablo Neruda, one of the prominent poets of Latin American literature and one of the most influential "new poetry" poets of the 20th century. In this article, by using the mentioned components and features, the authors try to do a comparative analysis of such themes and features of lyrical literature in the works of these Iranian and Chilean poets, relying on sustainable literature.
