Abstract :
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of yoga exercises on job satisfaction and burnout of female employees of Tehran Islamic Azad University of Medical Sciences. . For this purpose, 40 female employees of the University of Medical Sciences participated in the study voluntarily. Candidates were randomly divided into control and exercise groups. The training group (20 people) performed two sessions of yoga exercises per week for 12 weeks. The control group (20 people) performed only daily activities. The results showed that yoga exercises have a significant effect on job satisfaction and burnout of female employees of Tehran Islamic Azad University of Medical Sciences. It is possible that the managers and officials of the University of Medical Sciences feel that exercising disrupts the work of employees, so the managers of the University of Medical Sciences are suggested to offer a sports initiative to help take care of the health and well-being of employees at work. This smart and informed decision can save the organization costs in the long run
